Very stressful.

It was not a great stay at all. I went to JHB from CT for a wedding. The first night was kind of okay, besides the bedsheet that had spots of blood stains on it. I removed the sheet from the bed and slept without one. I am sure it had been washed (hopefully), but it is not nice to have a sheet with blood stains on it, cleaned or not. During the evening, the power went out. They kept trying to restart it to no avail. It kept tripping, so I went to sleep. The next morning there was still no power, and I needed to get ready for the wedding. The bathroom has no natural light, and you need to have a light on in order to see. I needed to wash and dry my hair, which I was not able to do. Part of the property had power, for some reason it was only the side I was on that did not, so they tried to run an extension cable for me so I could dry my hair. But then I was not able to close my room door, so obviously I was not happy with that. So I actually had to go to a hair salon and spend extra money just to get a wash and blow-dry. Getting back from the hair salon, there was still no power to my side - this was now 12:30. I also could not iron my dress that was creased from being in my travel bag. Getting ready was a bit of an inconvenience too as it was so dark when getting dressed, etc., as I could not get dressed with the curtains open, and there was no power to even put on a light. By the time I had left, which was 14:45, there was still no power. I returned to the property at about 1:30 am to total darkness. Still no power. So I had to make my way upstairs and to my room in total darkness. I just feel that not much was done to rectify the situation. Surely they could have put me in a room that did have power and also maybe supply battery lights for my room so I had some light. I honestly just feel that it was of no concern at all to them as none of the managers even asked me if there was anything they could do - I was just left to my own devices. The only help I received was from one of the workers there, and there really was not much he could do. The power was eventually restored on Sunday morning, which was the day I checked out. I did not enjoy my stay there at all.

Nice experience.

Based on the price it was good value for money. We did not enjoy the customer services, as they did not cater enough food for the breakfast buffet for all guests. The overall cleanliness was good, clean and tidy. The location and safety were great! Would definitely visit again. The pool was nice too.
