Really felt like we were very far away from it all.

The dirt road is manageable. My car is not a 4X4 and we managed fine. The farm is big so you can walk many kilometres on your own. I walked about 25km over a few days and didn't get lost even when going off the roads. Just print a map from google earth. Lots of interesting trees and birds. Will be going back to visit again.
