Ons het een aand hier oorgebly en het regtig uitstekende diens ervaar. We stayed here for one night and experienced really excellent service. We were allowed to come in a little earlier because the room was already ready for guests and we had a very nice room - it was quiet and private. The room was tidy and the bathroom is massively large and everything is very nicely done to make guests feel welcome. The air conditioner was wonderfully cool on the hot Stellenbosch day and we slept nice and cool in the clean linen and comfortable bed. We especially liked our private little balcony where we could sit and enjoy a nice drink. The Club Room is also a nice surprise, we didn't visit there because our busy schedule, but it was wonderfully cosy, even with a small kitchen and lovely balcony and couches. The next morning another very friendly lady was on duty and also treated us to a continental and English breakfast. The atmosphere in De Hoek is very peaceful and private, but the staff is always somewhere nearby to help with any requests. It was really a wonderful experience.
