Description

De Lange lodge is situated in a small but warm (literally) and friendly town De Aar, in the Northern Cape. De Aar is the second-most important railway junction in the South Africa. We have opened our doors to guest since 1991.

We pride our self on friendliness, because no beautiful room can provide the warmth and friendliness of a De Lange Lodge smile. Seeing that we smile we also open our hearts and would like you to call De Lange Lodge your HOME!

Our Lodge caters for up to 11 guests and 15 guests sharing. The lodge has a communal braai area, seeing that we are all family here. We also offer lunch and dinner after your English breakfast, but if you ask me it’s more like a De Aar breakfast, hence it’s packed with fruit salad, yogurt, cereals, eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and something special.

Don’t forget various juice flavors to choose from, coffee and tea. Now that we have established two points, first you will be greeted with a warm and welcoming smile, secondly you will be spoiled from morning till noon at our dining tables. On this note make a booking and let us spoil your.

We cater for special meals as well, just notify our chefs on your special ingredients, does or don’ts.

Mostly we serve traditional food, in this valley it means meat, Steak or “Boerekos”!

Our accommodation rooms will great you with fresh white linen, warm blankets (electrical), coffee and tea facility, small fridge and of course towels with bath accessory.

Then last but not least, once you have visited us you become part of the family and your preferred room or service will be kept in mind for the next visit, which we will look forward to.
