De Liefde Cottage is located on the farm De Liefde in Prince Alfred Hamlet, 10 km from Ceres and 2 km from the village of Prince Alfred's Hamlet. At the entrance to the farm, Arabian horses will welcome guests. The cottage is nestled between pear and peach orchards with its private fence all around to ensure privacy at the swimming pool area.

This is an old thatched farmhouse that has been restored and converted into 4 en-suite bedroom cottages. There are 2 bedrooms furnished with queen-size beds. The third bedroom contains a double bed, and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. All bedding, bath towels and swimming towels are provided. All bathrooms are fitted with showers.

The cottage comprises an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery as well as a dishwasher. In the living area is a large indoor braai. Braai wood is provided.

The living area opens up onto a lovely patio area which has outdoor patio furniture. The back patio leads to the swimming pool where guests can enjoy great views over the orchards and mountains.

Please note that the cottage is located on a working farm and there are vehicles that will pass by during the high season from October to April.

Attractions in the area include Matroosberg Nature Reserve, Inverdoorn Game Reserve, Kagga Kamma Private Game Reserve or Ceres zip slide tours.
