Description
De Zalze Lodge is a Cape Dutch vernacular-style guest lodge set on the Kleine Zalze Estate overlooking the lush vineyards and breathtaking Stellenbosch mountains. Nestled against the first fairway of the De Zalze Golf Course, this luxurious establishment provides relaxed yet pristine accommodation with an array of leisurely pastimes guaranteed to unwind the stresses of modern-day living.
Accommodation is offered in a variety of rooms and suites including Standard Rooms, Superior Rooms, Luxury One Bedroom Suites, and Mountain View Standard Rooms. Each room and suite is air-conditioned and fitted with underfloor heating, satellite TV, internet access, and room safes. The Standard Rooms, Superior Rooms and Mountain View Standard Rooms are equipped with a small bar fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The Luxury Suites also have their own kitchens equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery, for basic self-catering.
The De Zalze Lodge does not have a restaurant nor bar on site and breakfast is offered daily at the Kleine Zalze restaurant, which is approx. 100 metres walk from the Lodge. The Kleine Zalze restaurant is open daily for lunches but closed for dinner. Please enquire at the reception desk about possible dinner options in the area.
There’s a rim-flow swimming pool, a range of vineyard trails for hiking or running, mountain bike trails, as well as wine tastings.
