Die Boshuisie is a privately owned self-catering chalet that sleeps 4 guests comfortably (maximum 6, adults and children included) and is located in the Utopia Nature Resort near Buffelspoort in the North West Province and approximately 100 km from Pretoria.

The main bedroom is upstairs while downstairs in the open plan living and kitchen area, are 2 stack single beds and a double sleeper couch. The chalet is equipped with blankets and pillows but no sheets and pillow cases as many guests prefer to bring their own.

The stove, fridge/freezer and geyser are all gas operated, which is supplied. Lighting operates from solar energy. The unit is well equipped to make your stay enjoyable. On the back patio is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Guests must bring their own towels for bathing and swimming. On the front patio is a braai area which is ideal for relaxing at night and looking up into the dark clear skies. One will be amazed to see how many stars there are and then hearing the game in the distance from across the river. Guests will find variety of board games to enjoy family bonding evenings.

One will find Utopia Nature Resort hidden away in the Magaliesberg nature conservation area, where it is all about relaxing, reviving and rejuvenating. In keeping with the natural surroundings there is no electric equipment, thus no TV, no loud radios or music, no fans, no air conditioning, and forget about hair driers. The roads are ideal for biking, walking, jogging or bird watching. No motor bikes or quad bikes are allowed. The speed limit is 25km per hour.

Utopia Nature Resort is a favorite for those seeking a back-to-nature rustic holiday or break-away. There is 114ha of lush indigenous vegetation and the Tonquani River to explore. There are 5 marked walking trails all around the resort, through a highly varied natural environment from bush to river rambles to stunning mountain views.

There are more than 150 identified bird species in the area. All the small game as well as snakes and scorpions, you are likely to come across around your chalet and on your walks have a right to exist. Guests visit Utopia Nature Resort and stay at Die Boshuisie at their own risk. Pets are not allowed. Guests should arrive well prepared with all daily supplies and firewood as there is no convenient store at the resort.

At Utopia Nature Resort guests will also find a sparkling swimming pools and kids pool or cool off in the natural rock pools of the Tonquani River. There are braai facilities and change rooms, 2 tennis courts, bring your own rackets and balls; putt-putt course, 4 putters and 4 balls in the chalet; children's playground and a restaurant at the main complex.

Utopia Nature Resort offers 24 hour security and access control at the entrance gate.
