Die Koejawelhuisie offers comfortable self-catering accommodation on a tranquil working farm situated 7 km from Porterville, a quaint town nestled at the foot of the Olifant's River Mountain. The farm offers guests a tranquil retreat surrounded by a guava orchard and fields of corn and canola. Relax in the new KolKol hot tub while you enjoy the night sky.
The tastefully refurbished cottage is nestled in the guava orchard and boasts lovely views of the surrounding mountains. It comprises 1 bedroom and can accommodate 2 adults with 2 children. The bedroom contains a double bed while the lounge has a sleeper couch for children. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave, 2-plate stove with a mini oven, big indoor braai area and a dining table. Guests have access to outside braai facilities and each unit is equipped with a fan and air-conditioning.
Activities on the farm include swimming in the dam, bird-watching, hiking, mountain biking, walks in and around the farm or relaxing on the verandah. The farm is centrally located and guests can enjoy day trips to nearby towns. On some weekends there is also a farmer's market on the edge of town. There is a dirt road of 3,5 km but it is driveable with any car.
