Overnight stay to discover the Loeriesfontein area.

We were travelling to see flowers on the West Coast and ventured to Loeriesfontein as a new destination. We were disappointed with both the flowers and town as the drought has clearly ravaged the area. Whilst Die Kokerboom is one of the better establishments in the village, we would not venture back and rather stay further south around Nieuwoudtville or north towards Kamieskroon.

A friend and I had a wonderful three days at Kokerboom Cottage during the spring flower season.

The accommodation was sparkling clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the abundant flowers and other attractions in the area. It was great to come back to the house and relax after a hectic day. My friends' two dogs - poodles - were welcomed and were very happy and safe in the fenced yard.
