Description

Die Plaashuis is a beautiful, Old Cape Dutch-style house situated near Botrivier on the R43. It is ideally suited for a family or group of friends for a weekend breakaway, or as a stopover spot for guest's travelling far.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 guests at a time. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second and third bedrooms each have a double bed. There are 2 bathrooms, each fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, kettle, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and has an indoor braai. Bed linen and towels are provided.

There is a fireplace in the living room as well as comfortable couches, a TV with DStv and a dining table where guests can enjoy meals together. Guests are also afforded complimentary Wi-Fi during their stay.

Outside there is a jungle gym for the children as well as lovely outdoor braai facilities.

There is a pond on the farm where guests can fish and swim. Resident sheep and chickens also roam the area.

The farm is located on the R43 approximately 30 km outside of Hermanus, just after the Botrivier turnoff. It is only a 15-minute drive to the nearest swimming beach in Kleinmond, and on the way is the Arabella Country Golf Estate. Botrivier is only 5 km away. There is also a restaurant and petting zoo right next door at Ecology. There are more than 10 wine farms within a 5-10 km radius and several mountain bike trails. The famous Houw Hoek Hotel is also only 10 km away.
