Die Uil Huis is a rustic yet comfortable self-catering home located on a farm in Grootvlei, situated approximately 33 km from Vaal Marina at the Vaal dam.
This solar and gas-powered farmhouse has a rustic exterior but offers eclectic furnishings in the interior for 6 persons, and consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan living area. The bedroom is equipped with 2 three-quarter beds, and there are 2 bunk beds in the living area. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, a basin, and a toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen contains a gas fridge, a 2-plate gas stove, and a gas water heater. The adjacent open-plan living area features a built-in braai area that can be used as a fireplace, a dining table with seating, and sofas to relax on.
