Terms & Conditions

INDEMNITY:

The occupants of these premises and guests indemnify and hold harmless the owner of the premises, his family, employees and agents in respect of all loss, injury, damage or cost which may be incurred or sustained by the owner, his family, employees or agents resulting from the occupation of the premises by occupants or guests, and in respect of all demands, claims or actions of whatsoever nature which may be brought against the owner, his family, employees or agents arising from the aforesaid occupation or use of the premises.

Breakage Deposit:

Breakage deposits will be refunded within 10 business days after check-out, should everything be in order.
Please forward banking details prior to arrival.

The breakage deposit will be forfeited in the following instances:

If more people than the house accommodates are found to be stay at the house.
If extensive cleaning is required upon departure;
If there are any traces, signs or smells indicating that there was smoking in the property;
If we (the agent) becomes aware of any act of misbehaviour, loud music, disruption to the neighbours and/or property. This also applies to situations where we (the agent) is informed of misbehaviour after the guests have vacated the premises;
If the windows and/or doors are left open after departure;
If any item is missing, broken or damaged, the replacement value will be subtracted from the deposit;
If there are stains on the linen, the linen will be replaced and the costs will be subtracted from the deposit;
The following substances are likely to leave stains on linen (this may not be a full and complete list): Blood, mascara, make-up foundation, nail varnish, red wine, self tanning or quick tanning lotion, and suntan oils;
Any cost incurred to rectify the property by the agent after the stay will be subtracted from the breakage deposit, e.g. should extra heavy cleaning be required, or if excessive dirty dishes are left.

Any lost keys or keys not returned will result in locks & keys being replaced and the guest held accountable for such charges. This is in the interest of security.

Should such damage or loss be more than the breakage deposit, you will forfeit your deposit and still be liable for the balance of such loss and/or damage. We reserve the right to proceed with legal action without notice.

INVENTORY
There is an inventory in all units listing everything in the unit. Please check on arrival and notify reception of any discrepancies within 2 hours of arrival.

House Rules:
No pets (unless pre-arranged)
No smoking within the property/building
No noise/music permitted.
No parties or events
No spit-braais
To avoid additional cleaning fees, please leave the property in the same condition as it was found.
No Bachelor / Bachelorette Parties permitted
Check-in time is 3PM - 7PM
Check out by 10AM (unless pre-arranged otherwise)

Please note.
The purpose of this lease is accommodation for the lessee together with the number of persons specified in booking/contract. The premises are not leased to provide a venue for friends, family, or other invitees. Noise pollution must be kept to a minimum, especially after 22h00, so that neighbours and other occupant of units in the complex are not disturbed. Contravention of any of the conditions in this paragraph will result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the rent and breakage deposit.

Late arrivals will be charged at R250 per hour or part therefore, up until 21:00, payable in cash on arrival. No check ins will be done after 21:00 and you will be considered a no show.

As all our properties are residential homes we appreciate your respect to the property as well as the neighbours, therefore we do not permit loud parties or disruption to the neighbourhood or the home in any way.

Right of admission is reserved on all our properties.

We (the agent) agrees not to disclose any information on any of their clients.
