Comfortable, clean stopover in a beutifual and peaceful location!

Lovely little cottage, private, clean and comfortable.

The owners are very friendly, a lovely couple who made us feel at home. We honestly enjoyed our stay so much despite loadshedding. We would definitely go back and have told our family and friends about Downes Gasteplaas.

A fabulous stay over on this beautiful farm.

We enjoyed a memorable stay at Downes Guest Farm. Hosts Maree and Francois were very friendly and hospitable. We loved the large farm kitchen where we spent our evening with the indoor fire keeping us warm. The rooms were perfect, each having a light and torch for loadshedding. In the fresh morning we enjoyed running around the farm taking photographs of the windmills, the sunrise and the farm animals. Such a peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for families and children.
