Description
Duck-In is a cosy self-catering cottage for 2 people in Ivy Beach, Port Edward and is just 350 m from the beach.
Situated in a garden with geese, ducks, guineafowls and peacocks, the cottage comprises 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a kitchen, and a lounge. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, and the bathroom is fitted with a bath, a shower over the bath, and a toilet.
The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate stove, a microwave, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and guests can relax in the lounge.
Braai facilities and secure parking are available, and dogs are welcome with prior arrangements.
The cottage is connected to solar power and there is a water tank for days when the water is shut off. Guests are welcome to bring along their own DStv decoder and smart card.
The beach offers surfing, fishing, and snorkelling, and during May and August guests can also see the Sardine Run. Various hiking and walking trails can be explored in the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve.
