Description

Duck's Nest is a comfortably furnished self-catering unit with a private entrance, located on the owners’ property in Malelane. The property is situated approximately 8 km from Kruger National Park Malelane gate, an ideal base to explore the Lowveld and Panorama Routes, with the Mozambique and Swaziland borders both a short drive away.

The unit can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchen and a living area. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom is fitted with 2 single beds. The bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. All linen, bath and pool towels are provided.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a gas stove, gas oven, toaster, microwave, fridge-freezer, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining area has seating for 4 guests. Hot water is provided by gas geysers. The air-conditioned lounge is comfortably furnished with 2 sleeper couches in front of a Smart flat-screen TV with DStv, which can accommodate two children. The maximum comfortable capacity is 4, but it can fit 4 adults and 2 children if needed.

We have solar panels, an inverter and batteries which keeps everything going during load shedding except for air-cons, however, the ceiling fans will still work with the inverter.

The unit has its own built-in outdoor braai area, but also has a Weber braai. There is outdoor seating, and guests have full access to the swimming pool. Secure, private parking is available behind an electronic gate. Security cameras and beams are installed.
