House Rules
Please note that being rural, Sodwana Bay does sometimes experience power cuts and this is unfortunately out of our control. We do have a backup generator which we can run for an hour at a time for you to shower and charge up goods, there is a backup light and cooking can be done with gas.
To access the beach you have to go through the park entry gate and pay a daily rate.
There is another private house on the property but guests have their own electric gate and a private entrance.
The access road is a 2 km single sandy track and although a 4x4 is not needed, it is not suitable for vehicles with low clearance.
Please note that rural Sodwana Bay does often experience power cuts, this is unfortunately out of our control. when this happens we, unfortunately, lose water too, as it is all pumped from our borehole. We are equipped with a small backup generator that we can run for an hour or 2 so that you can shower and charge up. The aircon will not work.
The cottage is serviced every day, on request, except Sundays and public holidays.
