Description
Situated in Groot Brakrivier, Beach House Merak offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a charming wooden beach house with sea views. The beach house is conveniently located within easy reach of a beautiful, seemingly endless sandy beach. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean, and enjoy the view from the upper and lower deck, as well as from all 3 bedrooms. Guests may even catch a glimpse of dolphins swimming by.
There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms located downstairs. The main bedroom offers sea views and contains a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom and dressing area. The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. Each bathroom has a shower, bath, toilet and basin.
The layout of this tastefully decorated home allows guests to enjoy the sea views. The first floor comprises a large open-plan kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave, as well as a dishwasher for guests convenience. The kitchen also features a breakfast bar. The living area comprises a dining table and chairs, and a lounge with a TV and a fireplace. The front deck has patio furniture, braai facilities and loungers, from where guests can relax and enjoy the view. Guests have access to a garage and 1 parking spot.
The location is ideal for those looking to explore the well-known Garden Route, where there are plenty of attractions, hikes and adventures. Guests can enjoy beach walks to the shipwreck close to Glentana, play golf in George, go whale watching in Mossel Bay in season, enjoy a game drive in Botlierskop Private Game Reserve, go hiking in Outeniqua National Park, or enjoy seafood along the coast. There are a few local guide books in the house.
Beach House Merak has installed a solar system making it more comfortable for our guests during loadshedding.
