Ekuthuleni Lodge is a lovely lodge situated in the heart of the malaria-free Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, where one can savour true African luxury. Ekuthuleni Lodge, meaning a place of peace, offers sweeping views of the savannah plains. Welgevonden Game Reserve is home to the Big Five and many other species of game.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 2 suites, offering intimacy and privacy, with magnificent views of the grasslands. The romantic bathrooms open onto a private courtyard and have indoor and outdoor showers. Each suite contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower.

Relax next to the swimming pool and enjoy expansive views, watching the sunset at the end of the day. If the weather is cooler, curl up with a book in one of the comfy lounges and enjoy a delicious meal in the cosy dining room or out on the open-air deck, sheltered from the elements by a reed awning.

After sundowner drinks, enjoy an evening game drive. The lodge offers 2 game drives per day, conducted by experienced rangers who will provide intimate details of the abundant flora and fauna, many species unique to the Waterberg. This malaria-free reserve has many species of antelope, zebra, giraffe, baboon, hyena, wild dog and other fauna foraging on planes and verdant slopes, while perennial waters hide crocodiles. The reserve also has abundant birdlife.
