Great location with an awesome course.

Great spot to stay. Everything that was needed was as described and available. Only two of the rooms had an aircon. No information was received on the check-in process and this required me to chase the information.

Unit 273 needs some serious maintenance work.

I wouldn't recommend 273 to anyone, compared to other units in Elements. It is the worst, the pool wasn't clean, had no emergency lights for loadshedding, oven doesn't work, no coffee stations in the rooms. It was just frustrating being in that unit. It is not well looked after.

Pragtige venue met teleurstellende geriewe.

Ons was aanvanklik beïndruk met die eenheid, maar het deurlopend probleme met die krag ervaar. Niemand het kamer kom diens, swembad vuil.

Tevrede.

Die pad was 'n bietjie rof met die grondpad saam, maar dink dit skep deel van die prentjie van die afgeleë plek, diep in die bos. Die kamers was mooi en ons kon als in die huis vind wat ons nodig gehad het. Al wat regtig gepla het was die feit dat hul aandui dis koninggrootte-beddens en dit was net dubbelbeddens. Pathetic service at Unit 270.

On arrival, we were allowed through gate security without even being asked whether we were checking in. I assumed that I needed to go to reception and followed the boards some 5 km to Reception, at 30 km/h. On arrival, the Reception informed us that we should have been given the keys at the security entrance? Had to travel all the way back to the gate to pick up keys and then all the way back in to "lodge 270". On arrival at the unit around 14:45, we were met with a disgusting sight - unmade beds, even a set of sheets on the lounge suite, beer bottles and cigarette boxes and butts everywhere. The place stank like an old bar the morning after. People had been smoking in the living area and in the two bedrooms. Left over sweets, bags of lemons, plastic beer cups littered the counters and floor. The dustbins had not even been used. A number of photo's as proof have been taken. We immediately tried to phone the agency, Fun Holidays, but each time the phone just rang and then hung up. Then we phoned our agent who said he would try to get hold of the maintenance team, who eventually arrived at 15:10, telling us that they had been recalled after having left to go home already? Five ladies took more than 30 mins to clean the unit. We enjoyed the rest of the stay, but the overall experience was severely tainted with the pathetic service we received. My recommendation, visit Elements by all means, but stay away from the self-catering lodge No.270 and possibly others like it.

A most enjoyable weekend.

The unit is really nice but a few things need to be looked at. Lighting over the table and outside is insufficient. It needs a built in braai. The Weber is broken. Otherwise, a really nice unit, well air-conditioned, neat and tidy.
