Description

Fairview Estates is situated near Fouriesburg on the border of Free State and Lesotho. The estate consists of working farms, which produce Bonsmara Cattle, Appaloosa Horses as well as Alpacas. These working farms offer breathtaking scenery and the chance to truly escape from civilization.

Fairview Estates comprises 3 different accommodation options, Twin Towers, De Rust Farm Cottage and the Damn Caravan. Please note that in order to reach the De Rust Farm Cottage you need a decent SUV vehicle. All rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, electric blankets, oil heaters and crisp white percale linen.

The lounge in the Damn Caravan has a small Queen Anne log-burning stove for those cold winter nights. All the beds have hot water bottles for extra comfort. The Damn Caravan offers an outside freestanding Victorian bath, to be enjoyed by the romantic. Twin Towers also has a small wood-burning stove in the lounge for those cold nights. De Rust boasts an undercover braai room with built-in braai and lots of seating. Both De Rust and Twin Towers have a Smart TV with Netflix so guests can sign into their accounts. Damn Caravan also features Wi-Fi.

De Rust farm cottage has its own wood-fired hot tub and a Dover fireplace for those cold winter days. The Damn Caravan however operates on a gas shower, full gas oven and a gas fridge and freezer. Damn Caravan also has a small solar panel system which supplies every room with one light and one plug point. The portable LED lights and candles can be used as a backup.

All three of the accommodation options have free Wi-Fi but there is no normal signal on the farm.

All guests have access to the communal pool, which is a cement farm dam fed by fountain water and situated just behind the Twin Towers.
