Feet Up Cottage is a cosy self-catering unit situated in a tranquil neighbourhood in the town of Somerset West. It's just a 5 to 15-minute drive from one of the best beaches in Cape Town, and not far away from Stellenbosch and other wine farms. The Medi Clinic is just 1 to 2 minutes' drive from us and the Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital is also just 5 to 15 minutes away. The busy business centre of Stellenbosch is 15 to 20 minutes away and is ideally located if you wish to do business there or in Techno Park.
This cottage is private, 1 km from Vergelegen Medi Clinic, 50 km from Cape Town and only 30 km from Cape Town International Airport. Top beaches are also in close vicinity.
This unit is on the owner's premises, with a private entrance, 1 bedroom that sleeps 2 guests and the living/dining area that has additional space for 2 children or 1 adult. The bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. If required, 1 child can sleep on the sleeper couch in the lounge and the other child on an inflatable mattress. Two business travellers can also use the bedroom and living room with a sleeper couch respectively.
Dogs are welcome, but there's only a palisade fence through which small dogs can escape.
The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, washing machine, gas oven, toaster, kettle and microwave. A TV, free WiFi and safe parking is also available.
The unit has solar panels that provide backup power during load shedding.
Attractions and activities nearby include Helderberg Nature Reserve, Somerset Mall, Erinvale Golf Club, Lourensford and Vergelegen wine estates, 4x4 routes, wine tasting and hiking.
For guests who have to visit the hospital, we are ideally located.
