Field and Stream is situated on a farm just outside the small town of Dullstroom on the Tonteldoos Road and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in peaceful surroundings where guests can enjoy privacy and panoramic views. Field and Stream is well known for fly-fishing and offers 2 dams, a weir, and 4 km of the Witpoort River on the southern end of the farm.

Accommodation is offered in 5 separate units. There are 2 stone cottages that can accommodate 6 to 8 guests, overlooking a beautiful dam, a 10-sleeper lodge situated above a weir with lovely views, and a 2-sleeper cottage. A 6-sleeper unit is also available in the farmstead. All units are equipped for self-catering. The farm has established itself as a reputable fishing destination, and both Rainbow and Brown Trout can be caught. Visitors are urged not to keep any of the Brown Trout, and rather practice catch and release after a great fight.

Only 3 of the units, namely The Nest, Cormorant Cove, and The Farmstead, are pet-friendly by prior arrangement.

Guests can also enjoy waterfalls with picnic and swimming areas, as well as beautiful walks along the streams, and along the farm tracks that cross the farm. As for walking, the farm has a number of farm tracks that are ideal for mountain biking. In addition, there are a number of recommended mountain biking routes around Dullstroom, all of which can be accessed from Field and Stream.

At the top end of the farm, you will find the Field and Stream Clay Pigeon Shooting Range. It is open most Saturday’s from 10:00 to 17:00 but will open longer, or on additional days through prior arrangement. It is an ideal venue for bachelor parties, family outings or for team building.

The farm now also offers a Conference Centre, supporting up to 25 delegates. It offers overhead projection, flipcharts, plugs and leads, television and a backup generator. It has a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor braai area; catering can be arranged. Team building activities are available.
