Description
The Nest is a cosy 1-bedroom en-suite cottage that can accommodate up to 2 guests. In addition, there is a double sleeper couch in the lounge which caters for an additional 2 children if necessary. When booking, please confirm whether The Nest is booked for 2 single persons or a couple, in order to have the bed made accordingly. The cottage has an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with a fireplace. There is also a covered verandah with a braai area.

Please note that there is a gravel road leading to the establishment. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. High clearance vehicles are recommended as Field and Stream is a farm, and is accessed on a farm dirt road. The accommodation units on Field and Stream do not currently have cell phone reception. There is reception available at the entrance to the farm and at the Wingers Bush Bar and Shooting Range. There are no credit card facilities at Field and Stream. A minimum stay of 2 nights over a weekend and 3 nights over a long weekend with a public holiday, is required for a booking. Should there be any change in the published rates, these will be communicated to you at the time of booking. The full amount must be paid before arriving at Field and Stream. Only 3 of the units, namely The Nest, Cormorant Cove and The Farmstead, are pet-friendly by prior arrangement. A fee of R 50.00 per dog per day will be charged. Due to Covid-19, the servicing of units is by prior arrangement. Note that all units, except The Nest, have dishwashing machines.

The Farmstead has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The cottage has an open-plan kitchen and a dining area which overlooks a covered back verandah. The lounge is equipped with DStv access, and guests are required to bring their own DStv decoder and smart card. The lounge also features a fireplace, and opens out onto a large covered verandah with a braai area; this overlooks the old orchard and the valleys and hills beyond. The Farmstead is the original homestead of the farm and has been recently renovated.

The lodge has an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, with a large fireplace in the lounge. Guests are required to bring their own DStv decoder and smart card for DStv access in the entertainment area upstairs. The entertainment area is also equipped with a bar, a pool table and a dartboard. A fully covered verandah, with a braai area, offers the opportunity for outdoor entertaining in any weather. The lodge is ideal for entertaining and for large gatherings of families or friends.
