Fisherman’s Cottage

Enjoyed the stay and would love to return.

Had a wonderful time. I expected toilet paper and all internal lights to work, but there was no toilet paper and the lights in the passage and one of the downstairs bathrooms were not working. Also, please replace those pans with stainless steel ones. Those non-stick ones are particularly dangerous to everyone's health since they are in a terrible state. Perhaps a picture of the outside of the house should be on the site since Google maps points to another house and got us lost trying to find the place.

Pragtige uitsig en kan dit definitief aanbeveel as jy die naweek wil rus. Daar is geen TV of internet so vat 'n boek saam. Ons het 2 klein kindertjies en hulle was bietjie verveeld sonder enige TV of internet maar het dit oorleef vir 3 dae.

Stunning view, calming and chilled.

It was a little cold but that's to be expected in winter. There was a stunning view and a lovely accommodation with all the necessities. Indoor braai does smoke the place up a bit but you figure out how to get around it. Really lovely stay.

Baie geniet, was heerlik stil en ons kon lekker uitrus.

Waarde vir geld. Voorstel vir stoele op balkon. Duvets se inners is verby hulle leeftyd. Anders baie lekker gebly en sal beslis weer daar tuisgaan.

Enjoyed the layout of this house, the enclosed braai area was a dream. The balcony gave a great viewing point. Access to the beach was a short walk away.

Great location, lovely place, awesome weeekend.

If I could recommend 2 things. Change the stove to a gas stove, especially for load shedding, and extractor fan or better ventilation for the indoor fireplace as it smokes up the top floor. Not a complaint at all, just my opinion.

Heerlik gekuier by die see!

Ons het heerlik gekuier en sal definitief weer terug wees. Die huis is stapafstand van die see af en kon heerlik binne braai met minder goeie weer. Daar is alles wat nodig is in die huis en kombuis. Daar was genoeg ekstra ligte en lampe vir loadshedding. 'n Paar bordspeletjies, kaarte en jenga was baie welkom! Ek wil net 'n paar voorstelle gee: stoepmeubels sal lekker wees, selfs 'n stapel plastiekstoele wat 'n mens kan uitdra op die balkon. Noem dalk dat daar nie 'n TV is nie.

Lekker moeite werd Juanita is baie vriendelik.

Ons het regtig baie lekker gekuier, moes ongelukkig 'n aand vroeër ry as gevolg van mediese redes maar sal definitief weer kom kuier.

Awesome stay.

The cottage is perfect - clean and fully equipped for self-catering. The indoor braai was a bonus with the cold weather we had. Walking distance to a beautiful beach. Looking forward to returning.

Lovely Stay in Fishermans Cottage.

Perfect getaway house if you love fishing. The view is wonderful. The house could do with a better clean for new coming guests, but either way, we really enjoyed our stay here to unwind and enjoy nature.

Bit of a disappointment.

When my friends arrived before me they contacted the owner who was a bit abrupt according to them as I was informed where to find the key. According to the email it was to call Joanie but they couldn't get through therefore I gave her number, never the less they entered and when they got inside the place was reaking of fire (due to fireplace in the house). The kitchen area was dusty and the table was sticky. They cleaned up. However when I arrived I found that inside the cupboards was extremely dusty with little insects. The fireplace kept smoking up the entire house which was extremely unpleasant. We couldn't use the outside braai cause there isn't any chairs to use outside. The walk around in the area is very beautiful. They need to really keep their hand on the place in means of cleaning. The beds needs to be replaced really hard and not accommodating for a bigger and taller person. Pillows new but high and stiff. Please add extra duvets to all rooms as it is extremely cold.

Absolutely enjoyed.

We enjoyed the stay. The views are amazing. The bedding (duvets and pillows) can be replaced. It is past their sell by date already. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.

Value for your money.

My stay was really amazing, stunning views of the beach from every window on the top floor, house was nice and clean and had everything you needed, felt like home.

Great spot.

Furniture in lounge needs upgrade. Smoking fireplace is unpleasant.

Die yskas het op dag 1 gebreek en is binne paar ure (op 'n Sondag) met 'n splinternuwe yskas vervang! Dit is kliëntediens uit die boonste rakke!

Ons het 'n heerlike naweek gehad by Fisherman’s Cottage. Die huis is baie gerieflik met pragtige uitsig oor die see. Alle geriewe was beskikbaar ons het net kos en beddegoed saam geneem. Die eienaar was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Die huis was skoon en netjies. Ons was 3 paartjies so dit was 'n bonus dat elke kamer sy eie badkamer het.

Dit was baie lekker, stil en rustig.

Ons het baie lekker gekuier en dit was 'n baie oulike plekkie. Juanita was baie aangenaam.

Stunning.

What a beautiful house, stunning views located close to gorgeous beaches. Great for fisherman and we loved catching and cooking our fish the same day. A well stocked convenience store and post office is located in the reserve. I didn’t expect a TV, but what a blessing it was time to reconnect with nature. Highly highly recommend this property.

Amazing ligging en ongelooflike lekker gemaklike huis.

'n Naweekwegbreek het gevoel soos 'n mini-vakansie. Ons het heerlik gekuier om die vuur en om in die oggend jou koffie te geniet op die balkon met daardie amazing uitsig was hemels. Ons sal definitief weer daar kom kuier.

It is a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The views from the balcony is stunning. Do not forget to bring board games because there is no TV which was great.

Dit was 'n heerlike naweek.

Pragtige uitsig oor die see. Lekker geleë. Ek sou nie hierdie plek aanbeveel vir ouer mense of mense met klein kindertjies nie. Trappe. Die skottelgoedwasmasjien werk nie reg nie en die binnebraai rook erg. Ons het skuifdeure oopgemaak maar dit het nie gehelp nie. Vir die prys wat ek per nag betaal het, het ek meer verwag.
