Forest View Lodge is situated in Eshowe and offers comfortable accommodation in a uniquely designed and spacious guest house, ideally situated for those wishing to visit historical sites such as the Zululand Museum, Fort Nongqayi, and the Dlinza Forest.

The guest house offers a relaxed atmosphere in non-smoking en-suite rooms, overlooking the 250 hectare indigenous Dlinza Forest, home to 132 tree species and more than 65 species of bird. The Dlinza Forest is renowned for its tree-top aerial boardwalk, which is located just 3 km away from the guest house.

Guests are welcome to relax in the evergreen park-like garden. Secure undercover parking is provided behind security gates, and the property is fenced in for guests' peace of mind. A continental and/or English breakfast is served, and included home made bread and jams, fruit salads, and yoghurts. Dinner can also be arranged on request.

Eshowe offers 4 à la carte restaurants, as well as a variety of takeaways. The nearest swimming beach is approximately 30 km away. Game reserves, Zulu cultural tours, bird watching, and fishing are just some of the activities on offer in the surrounding area.
