Stay was good. Rooms and bathrooms could do with some up grading and modernising. The common areas are lovely.

The carpets need cleaning and the bathrooms are very dated and mould in places. The mattress are worn and need to be changed. The towel smelled damp.

Beautiful place in a lovely setting. Can improve on cleaning a bit.

The place is conveniently located. The setting is beautiful with the outside gazebo and pool. I would have loved to stay longer, but the room I was booked (room 1) was too small. Cleanliness can be improved a bit because room 2 had dust etc. It was much better after they cleaned the following day.

Just what you need for a night or two away from home.

A lucky last-minute booking at Forest Villas enabled us to spend a day in Imfolozi and a day in Isimangaliso rather than heading back to Mtunzini and our holiday accommodation in between.

Geen warm water vir 3 nagte met 2 jong kinders.

Ons besoek aan Forest Villas was minder aangenaam. Toe ons 2:45 daar kom was ons kamers nog nie gereed nie nadat ons bevestiging gekry het dat ons reeds 2 uur kon inteken. Ons moes toe nog 'n verdere 30 minute wag voordat ons na ons kamers toe kon gaan. Daar was ook geen hulp om ons tasse te vat na die boonste verdieping waar ons eenhede was. Die eenheid waar ek en my 2 dogtertjies gebly het, het ook geen water water gehad vir 3 nagte van ons 4 nagte se verblyf nie. Ons het dit daagliks onder hulle aandag gebring, maar die staff het hulle net daaraan afgesmeer. Die plek is regtig baie oulik maar die diens van die staff is pateties. Daar was ook geen bestuur om hierdie probleme aan te spreek nie. Ons wou baie graag langer bly, maar na die diens en geen warm water het ons spoedig daarteen besluit.

Our visit to Forest Villas was less pleasant. When we got there at 2:45, our rooms weren't ready yet after we got confirmation that we could already check in at 2 hours. We then had to wait another 30 minutes before we could go to our rooms. There was also no help to take our bags to the top floor where our units were. The unit where my 2 little girls and I stayed also had no running water for 3 nights of our 4 night stay. We brought it to their attention daily, but the staff just brushed them off. The place is really very cute but the service of the staff is pathetic. There was also no management to address these problems. We really wanted to stay longer, but after the service and no hot water, we soon decided against it.

Parkeer teenaan die pad: voertuig glad nie veilig nie. Stoepdeur wou nie oopsluit nie. Ek het dit aangemeld, maar geen aandag is daaraan gegee nie.
