It was great.

The lodge is in a very peaceful area, the lady is kind. The landscape is beautiful.

Definitely our stay.

Enjoyed our stay, the views of the river are awesome. Delicious breakfast and the Loerie Room has had a slight revamp so it looks better than the pics provided here. Value for money, and easy access to amenities.

Exciting and bad.

Everything about the lodge is fine except the housekeeper. The lady has a bad customer services she doesn’t know the correct manner to communicate with guests.

Hi Inathi,
Firstly, I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you were happy with the B&B in general. It is really hard work to run a B&B. Our housekeeper, Valencia lost her Daughter recently and is really battling to cope with this. Some days are good and others are bad. As such, she has on her own decided to retire at the end of March this year. She has been at the B&B for about 17 years and lives for her work and daughter. The loss of her daughter has taken its toll on her. I can honestly say, and our reviews can prove this, that this is the first time we have had a negative rating on Valencia. Every review mentions how she is very helpful and friendly and some even refer to her as Mamathemba. I ask that you please forgive her as December was a very difficult time for her both work-wise and whilst everyone was in Party Mode and enjoying themselves, she went through Christmas and New Year knowing that her only child was no longer there.

It was stunning and very safe.

What a lekker place to stay. Safe and clean with a welcome drink and the lady was very friendly and professional. Superb breakfast and very well presented.
