Stayed for a three-night weekend, could easily have stayed longer.

Very pleasant stay in the spotlessly clean cottage with a lovely garden alive with birds vying for a sip of nectar from the feeder bottle. The cottage is fully equipped with everything one could possibly need, even including tea, coffee, long-life milk and rusks. The perfect hostess was most helpful with information about attractions in the area. She also checked in with us every day to hear if there was anything we needed. We will certainly go back for another visit.

The accommodation at Four Fields Farm was even better than I was expecting. The garden was absolutely stunning, and Ilze, the host, was super friendly and accommodating. There was even a gas stove, which was very useful when load shedding hit. Overall, a lovely place to stay if you are planning a holiday in the area.

Ons het twee aande in die tuinkothuis gewoon sodat my man kon deelneem aan die Otter Uitdaging. Ilze het uit haar pad gegaan om ons te akkommodeer. Ons kon al die oggend 8am by ons plekkie inkom sodat ek kon begin werk. Ek het stabiele WiFi nodig gehad om twee dae te kom sit en werk. Ek kon werk sonder enige probleme, selfs tydens beurtkrag. Ons plekkie was goed ingerig. Ons kon regtig nie vir beter gevra het nie. Die plaas is pragtig, rustig en ontspannend. Die ligging het goed gewerk vir die ry na die Otterresies toe.

Lovely farm accommodation with spectacular mountain veiws.

Ilze is a lovely host who kept us updated with the load shedding schedule as well as restaurants in the area that were showing the rugby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with beautiful views of the mountains. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations.

Idyllic, comfortable, and well-equipped.

The house is beautifully presented and comfortable, with great attention to detail. There are lots of thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge, ground coffee for the coffee maker, lights provided for load shedding and a selection of mosquito repellants, from Peaceful Sleep to natural alternatives. The gardens are idyllic and it is a lovely peaceful place to stay.

Access to the Nature's Valley lagoon was by car. It was not clear if there were any farm walks close by.

We stayed at Four Fields Farm for three nights and thoroughly recommend it. The cottage was extremely comfortable and unbelievably well equipped. Garden lovers will be ecstatic with the grounds. The location is also very nice; quite close to Nature's valley.

Ons oornag altyd in Plet op pad met vakansie. Hierdie jaar het ons die beste plekkie ontdek te danke aan die webtuiste. Top diens, skoon, netjies, mooi, perde, gerieflik. Ek beveel dit 100 % aan vir enigiemand wat die area wil besoek.

Die akkommodasie is sonder pretensie, maar mens voel gemaklik en gesellig. Alles is silwerskoon, en kamers word daagliks gediens. Kombuis is goed toegerus, en dit was lekker om selfs ordentlike steakmesse te kon vind vir die braaivleis. Reël vooraf vir ekstra ys. Die plek moet eintlik die Goue Haan of Golden Rooster genoem word, want daar is die mooiste, grootste en ordentlikste haan denkbaar wat nuuskierig kom groet en sy vet hengade kom bekendstel.

Gesellig, rustig en vreedsaam.

Ons het baie lekker gebly, dit was ons akkommodasie vir die Otter African Trail Run, en dit het aan al ons behoeftes voorsien.

We had a lovely time at Four Fields. We enjoyed the lush green garden. Friendly host Ilse and Mary her assistant made us feel at home and everything was there. Beautiful flowers in our room from the garden was a treat. Very clean and comfortable.

Ons het 3 nagte in Four Field's Farm gebly. Ilze het ons baie vriendelik ontvang en klein details soos Belgiese sjokolade op die beddens en koffie-plunger met gemaalde koffiebone laat ons ekstra welkom en tuis voel. Die kamer was baie skoon en netjies, met 'n toegeruste kombuis, badkamer met stort en bad. Die kombuis loop ook uit op 'n stoepie agter met 'n braai-area waar ons heerlik gebraai het! Four Fields Farm is stapafstand van 'n padstal met 'n restaurant en heerlike varsgebak soos pasteie en brood. Dit is ook slegs 10 min se ry tot by Natures Valley en daar is ook baie besienswaardighede in die omgewing. Four Fields Farm bied baie lekker verblyf in 'n beeldskone stukkie natuur, ons sal vir seker weer hier bly!
