Ting Tinkie is a quaint double bedroom self-catering unit which can accommodate 3 guests. The main bedroom consists of a king-size, high quality, bed with ice-white linen. The second bedroom has a single bed and its own basin. This is a lovely sunny room with a huge cottage pane window. Ting Tinkie has an inter-leading lounge with TV with Open View Decoder. It also has a separate bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Ting Tinkie has its own private lapa and braai area and is close to the fully enclosed pool, lapa and tanning area. Secure parking for your vehicles.

House Rules
- The guest house closes at 21:00. Late arrivals stand to lose their accommodation if no arrangements have been made with the resident manager.
- There is no direct view of the dam from any of the units.
- No loud music or loud parties are permitted. Guests will be asked to leave if non-compliant and will not receive any refund for the booking. Quiet time is from 22:00 – 07:00.
- The use of the name “cottages” reflects the owner’s concept of what is expected in terms of the word cottages. They are prefabricated asbestos units and named cottages.
- Gariep Dam is part of a Semi Desert area with extreme heat in summer, extreme cold in winter, dust-storms, gale force winds and unpredictable weather conditions.
- Photos taken and displayed have been taken during lush summer seasons where the foliage was good. Seasons change from year to year and drought and snow affect the surroundings and the look of gardens. Photos are deemed accurate from when they were taken, and management cannot be held responsible for comparative picture expectations during dry and cold seasons.
- The establishment has low-pressure solar geysers. Clear instructions are provided on how to use the hot water mix with cold water. This means that some days/nights during winter, the water will be mild and possibly even cold. This does not often happen but on occasions there are multiple overcast and very cold days in winter. Guests should advise the resident manager if you run out of hot water.
- Mostly all tiles are somewhat slippery, especially when wet. Guests must please be careful.
- The establishment is not suitable for those in wheelchairs or those that are physically disabled.
- All units are non-smoking, and pets are only allowed by arrangement with the owner.
- All guests must please bring their own swimming towels and irons.
- Daily cleaning is available.

Blue-Crane which can accommodate up to 4 guests. This family styled, self-catering unit is equipped with air-conditioning and consists of 2 bedrooms and a single bathroom. The rest of the house includes a lounge with TV, Open View Decoder and a kitchenette. Blue Crane has a most beautiful lush garden with vines and plenty of fruit trees. Quality beds with crisp white linen. Secure parking. Peaceful and quiet. Close to a fully enclosed pool with lapa and braai facilities.
