Description

Garvies Surf House is a double-storey self-catering house, ideally located within a short walking distance of Garvies Beach which is one of Durban's best-kept secret destinations. Its long pristine sandy beaches with rolling waves are every holiday-maker’s dream. From Garvies Surf House, it is a short walk down to the beach, and a great option is the lookout deck directly above the famous Garvies surfing spot. The deck has a 180-degree sea view where you can sit in the sun watching the dolphins and whales play in the surf below.

Garvies Surf House can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, an enclosed inside patio and an outside patio, a bar, study and a splash pool. There is a single garage with direct access into the house and off-street parking for 2 cars.

The bottom downstairs section of the house contains a lounge containing a TV with a DVD player and full satellite channels, and air-conditioning. There is a bar area next to the enclosed indoor patio. There is a study with a printer, and internet access. The indoor patio has a retractable roof and features an 8-seater dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with all amenities, and there is also a laundry with a washing machine and a tumble-dryer. In addition, there is a guest toilet on this level.

The top upstairs section of the house features 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom contains a king-size bed, a private lounge area, air-conditioning, walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted to twin single beds, and air-conditioning. The third bedroom contains a queen-size bed. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower.

Outside, there is a 3 m by 3 m swimming pool, and an outlook deck featuring 4 chairs and a loveseat swing. The fourth bedroom is a separate entity with en-suite bathroom and the villa can be rented with or without the use of this en-suite bedroom. This fourth bedroom contains a king-size bed that can be converted to twin single beds, a shower en suite, and a private entrance.

The villa includes Wi-Fi internet access throughout, burglar alarm with panic buttons linked to armed response, weekly housekeeping service, and premium DStv satellite television.
