Overnight on our way to the coast.

We were greeted at reception with a cold fruit juice and key cards that were ready for us. Rooms are quite spacious with a tea and coffee drawer, a minibar is listed but it's just an empty mini fridge, a bottle of water is supplied in the room and if you wish to order any additional coffee/ water to the room there is an additional charge of R60 as a "room service charge" so ordering coffee might be R25 but then the additional R60 turns out your coffee is going to set you back R85. Dinner the night we stayed was a buffet dinner starting at 18:30, having a small child with us we went to the restaurant at 18:15, sat and ordered drinks, we then had soup/ salads as a starter but our drinks took over 40min to arrive, as we dished up our main course there was traditional dancing and singing taking place in the lounge next door to us, don't get me wrong amazing that they offer this but for us, we couldn't have a conversation and also one of us had to leave our dinner and take our child outside because the beating of the drums was so loud that it actually scared her, as I said amazing that you offer this but give people a choice to either go and see the show in your boma or let them perform it outside, big drums being beaten in an enclosed space, might not be the best thing. There were clearly 2 international groups that the performance was for because as soon as they sat for dinner the staff choir then also came into the dining room to sing, so again no table service over this time as the staff was busy performing. We went for breakfast the following morning at about 08:30, really bad timing on our end as both the big groups had breakfast before us, and most of the buffet areas were empty and had not been replenished, I saw a waiter coming out with a fresh tray of muffins and the "tour leader" for one of the groups took all of them, maybe be aware of these things and when you have groups ensure that your other guests either have their own buffet or have backups ready. The photos on the website are amazing but I think a fantastic photographer was used, the pools are not blue they have a very green tinge, no pool towels are provided at the pool, and no service at all at the pool.

Excellent service, beautiful hotel and surroundings
