GlenDonald Cottage and Swallow's Croft are situated on a 4,500-hectare property along the Olifants River Gorge in Ceres. Originally built in 1965, GlenDonald Cottage has undergone several renovations, with the most recent completed in 2014. Overlooking the "Visgat," a stunning crystal-clear river pool, guests can enjoy fishing, swimming, or simply unwinding in this peaceful setting.
The cottages can accommodate up to 13 guests at a time. GlenDonald Cottage comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Bedrooms one and two are each furnished with a queen-size bed, and both have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Bedroom three is furnished with a double bed and also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Bedroom four contains 2 single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet.
Swallow’s Croft features 2 bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Both rooms open onto a small patio that offers breathtaking views.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering, featuring a gas freezer, gas fridge, gas stove and oven, as well as cutlery, crockery, and utensils. The dining room includes a large dining table, while the lounge offers comfortable seating, a fireplace, a gas bar fridge, and a selection of books and games. Both the dining and lounge areas open onto a wooden deck with stunning views.
Guests also have access to an outdoor braai area, camp chairs, a 2-plate gas hob, a table and benches, a Dover stove and oven, as well as a natural outdoor pool and an umbrella for shade.
