Description

Gypsea Daze is a modern and cosy self-catering home set in the quiet and beautiful little village of Pennington, with ocean and estuary views. Pennington's main and second beach is within walking distance, or a short drive away. There is a tidal pool at the main beach which is suitable for kids.

Gypsea Daze can accommodate 8 adults and 1 child. Accommodation is offered in a main house with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, and a self-contained cottage with its own kitchenette and living room.

The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and twin washbasins. This room has a sea view and sliding doors opening to the front garden. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a single bed suitable for a child, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, a toilet, and twin washbasins. The third bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. All of the bedrooms have ceiling fans. There is an additional family bathroom with a bath and a shower, a toilet and a wash basin.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a double-door fridge-freezer, hob and oven, microwave, and a separate scullery with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The dining area has an 8-seater dining table and chairs, and a sunny window seat, and the lounge area has comfortable seating and a flat-screen Smart TV. Stacker doors open to a deck with a swimming pool, as well as a covered outdoor seating area.

An inverter system kicks in during load shedding and can last up to 4 hours at a time depending on usage. The property has a backup jo-jo tank in case of water outages.

The self-contained cottage has a private entrance, a bedroom with a double bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave and toaster, and the lounge area has seating a TV and Wi-Fi, this unit does not have an inverter.

There is Clearvu fencing around the property as well as electric fencing and an alarm system. One garage space will be made available, and there is additional parking space in the driveway for another 3 cars.

The house is close to a little superette and a liquor store.
