Onverbeterlik.

Goeie opsie as jy in Nelspruit wil oornag.

Ons het nie veel opsies gehad om van te kies toe ons laat wou boek vir langnaweek nie. Hadens Rest was die beste van wat beskikbaar was. Ons was 3 mense, insluitend 'n jong kind. Apparte kamer sou beter gewees het en daar is was nie juis plek om te sit as mens kitskos gekoop het om te eet die aand nie. Dit was ongemaklik. Die dame wat ons ontbyt bestelling gevat het was anders van die een dag na die ander en partykeer het hulle geen idee gehad wat hulle eie spyskaart se nie. Bygesê, ek sal weer daar oornag, aangesien Nelspruit self nie juis goeie opsies het nie. We didn't have many options to choose from when we wanted to book late for the long weekend. Hadens Rest was the best of what was available. We were 3 people including a young child. Separate room would have been better and there was not much place to sit if you bought fast food to eat in the evening. It was awkward. The lady who took our breakfast order was different from one day to the next and sometimes they had no idea what their own menu said. That said, I would spend the night there again, as Nelspruit itself doesn't have very good options. Ons is jammer om te hoor dat verblyf in Nelspuit area nie aan julle standaarde voldoen nie, en dat julle weer sal terugkom Haden’s Rest toe.
Ons was nie vol bespreek nie en het ekstra kamers gehad indien u n aparte kamer sou wou gehad het.
Elke kamer in ons gastehuis het a hout dek met tafels voor elke kamer ingang, baie van ons gaste eet hulle kitskosies daar en ons verskaf of aanvraag eetgery vir ons gaste, ons ontvangs is oop tot 21H00 in die aande en die bestuurder woon op die perseel, ons eetkamer is ook beskikbaar indien gaste dit sou verkies.
Baie dankie dat u onder ons aandag gebring het met die dame wat u ontbyt bedien het, ongelukkig was dit 'n lang naweek en het ons van ons tydelike personeel op diens gehad, maar beslis baie belangrike terugvoer want ons is uiters gesteld op uitmuntende diens.
Dit is ongelukkig standaard prosedure om die bar yskas na te gaan voordat gaste vertrek ,as gevolg van verliese wat ons gely het met mense wat nie altyd eerlik was nie.

Reservation confusion.

When I arrived at Haden's Rest Guesthouse, I had to wait quite a while before someone saw that I was at the gate, this after pressing the intercom, phoning and eventually hooting. Once I got inside, they couldn't find my reservation. The manager was not on site and was not answering the phone. Eventually, I was then taken to another location (off site) to Haden's Rest Tumblestone Manor. Once I arrived, I was told that they are fully booked, and couldn't find my reservation so I was put into another family room. My family and I decided to go out for dinner, and when we returned, I found a handwritten note under the door, asking for detail of my reservation. The next morning I had to explain and show my reservation. This was explained to the manager/owner's mother. I was then told, that the person doing their reservations had family trouble and had failed to inform them of my reservation. I was offered their apologies for the inconvenience. I was rather disappointed in the overall experience and especially since they couldn't find my reservation. I do not feel that this is very professional.

We apologise once again for the confusion. As we explained to you before our manager had a family crisis and hence a proper handover was not done. We have already apologised to you three times. The room you were booked into was the room that was reserved for you. We have 2 guest houses one street apart that are run as one business. We would also like to say that your manner was unpleasant and you remained that way throughout the stay no matter how hard we tried to accommodate your needs.
