Tired of the city noise? Then Hazeldene rooms in Colesberg are just for you. Hazeldene was one of the first houses built in Colesberg with a very rich history of the Anglo-Boer war. The house belonged to a Miss Hobcork and the Hazeldene house was used on weekends as a townhouse. The entrance to the rooms is from Bell street, a typical Karoo town one-way with almost no traffic.
With the convenience of secure off-street parking and on-site Bordeaux restaurant/coffee shop, it is the ideal overnight stop for you. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the Bordeaux restaurant/coffee shop with a DStv for the sports lover.
The comfortable and spacious rooms have private access, en-suite bathrooms, each with spacious showers, and private patios. One room has a double bed and one single bed, whilst the other room is suitable for a family sleepover. The family room is equipped with a double bed and two single beds. For the expanded family the two rooms can be interlinked.
The rooms are serviced daily and linen and towels replaced. For your comfort tea and coffee facilities is available and an artificial breeze. Besides up-to-date magazines in each room, there are folders with interesting information about the history of Colesberg and the Anglo-Boer War impact on the community.
Specific room ethics apply, smoking and pets is not allowed in the rooms. To encourage all families to explore the tranquility of Colesberg, rooms are not equipped with television sets.
