Area next to dam is excellent - Hector's Bay Accommodation was a major disappointment.

Bathrooms were dirty. No maintenance is being done to keep the unit at an acceptable standard. Kitchen cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, and cups were filthy, covered with fatty/oily residue due to substandard soap provided to cleaners. Footnote: the lady on site was very good. She tried her best to assist the guests from both units - the cottage and the main house. She has only been on site for 2 weeks as a stand-in and cannot be blamed for the state of the unit.

Relaxing, peaceful, exciting.

Lovely place for a big family. We spent all day and night on the water. There was enough space for all of us. It was easy to find and the environment was lovely and peaceful, allowing us to forget our worries. We loved it so much in April that we had to book again this November. I definitely recommend it.
