Heilfontein Hermitage is an intimate and secluded self-catering cottage, located on a tranquil farm approximately 5 km from the small picturesque town of Tesselaarsdal in the Western Cape. This remote, wooden cabin is ideal for 1 person or a couple looking for a tranquil getaway, away from the city's hustle and bustle.
The cabin consists of 1 bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed fitted with linen, and there are built-in-cupboards. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, and a toilet. The open-plan kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave, as well as a gas hob and an oven. There are built-in cupboards to store crockery and cutlery. The adjoining open-plan sitting, dining and kitchen area features French doors that open onto the large covered patio, which boasts a built-in braai facility for guests to use.
The large covered patio offers sweeping views of the valley and the surrounding mountains, an ideal place to enjoy sundowners. The property has a large secure, fenced garden area and guests are welcome to bring along their well-behaved pets.
There are a number of wine farms and good restaurants to visit- all within a radius of 30 km of the farm.
