Hermanus Whale View - Beach Cottage is a homely and fully equipped self-catering cottage located in the secure and private Whale Rock Estate just 3 km from the centre of Hermanus. With a front-row seat the Beach Cottage is a mere 20 m from the crashing waves offering panoramic sea views.
Stylish decor sets a homely tone throughout. The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area as well as a deck.
The first bedroom has a seafront view and contains a queen-size bed and a shower en suite with a toilet and washbasin. Fall asleep to the tranquil crashing waves and enjoy your morning coffee views in bed. The second bedroom contains a double bed and has a garden view. This room has use of a bathroom over the passage, that contains a shower-over-bath, a toilet and a washbasin. There is ample cupboard space and soft white linens and towelling are provided.
An open-plan kitchen and dining make for easy festive meals with the best views in the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, crockery, glassware, pots, pans, cutlery, a full-size electric oven, a 4-ring electric hob, a gas option, a microwave oven, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. Kick your feet up, relax and take in the magnificent view lounging on a large leisure L-shaped couch. A brand new 43-inch flat-screen TV is matched with DStv and uncapped WiFi with an inverter. Take a step out of the lounge and onto the patio offering panoramic sea and often whale views whilst entertaining over a Weber braai. Cheers your sundowners to the salty champagne air and sunset taking a load off on our picnic table patio bench.
Whale Rock Estate offers a salt water rock pool, kids shallow pool, squash court, walking beach trail, coin-operated laundry room. 2 free allocated parking bays are available next to the cottage plus a guest parking area. The estate is very secure with 24-hour guards, hourly patrols, and electric fencing. There is also an in-house alarm system.
