Description

Highland Giants Estate is Dullstroom’s original dog-friendly destination, and offers comfortable accommodation in 6 self-catering cottages situated over 550 hectares. The charming cottages are private and all have fenced-off gardens.

The cottages are situated over 3 individual and privately owned working farms. Each cottage comprises an open-plan kitchen equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, a microwave, an oven and gas hob, and a kettle and toaster. Each cottage has a lounge with a fireplace for those chilly evenings, and is equipped with a TV with selected DStv channels and a DVD player. Guests also have access to braai facilities.

The estate offers dams and a river for fishing or paddling in, as well as a variety of bird life and wildlife, including zebra, blesbok, springbok and water buck. One can relax and enjoy the mountain and river views. The estate is 32.9 km outside the town of Dullstroom, 32.3 km from Lydenburg and a short 4.5 km dirt road from the R540.
