Description
Hill Billion Hotel is conveniently situated close to Shelly Beach, high on a hill just above Oslo Beach on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. The hotel caters for various markets, ranging from holidays to conferencing and is ideal for both families or business travellers. The Lodge overlooks the warm Indian Ocean on the 1 side and has panoramic views on the other, complemented by terraced gardens and a large grass lawn.
The accommodation comprises 11 suites with fans. The suites each feature a private bathroom, coffee- and tea-making facilities and a TV with selected DStv channels.
Some units comprise 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 guests at a time. Some of the rooms comprise double beds in the main bedroom with 2 single beds then in the second bedroom. The bathrooms of these units are each fitted with a shower, bath, toilet and basin. The lounge of each of these units has comfortable couches as well as a TV with selected DStv channels.
There is a fully licensed restaurant and a sports bar at the Lodge. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated if arranged prior to arrival. The restaurant serves meals from 06:00 to 20:00. Take away meals can also be arranged on request as well as room service.
The lodge has solar panels and inverters which means that the power stays on 24 hours a day. The road to the lodge has recently been tarred. There is a large race track for cars and motorbikes just 500 m from the lodge.
There is CCTV as an additional security feature that is supplemented by a roving guard that is on duty from 18:00 to 06:00 every night.
The hotel is located 3 km from Shelley Beach, 2 km from Port Shepstone and 32 km from the lovely Oribi Gorge.
