Beautiful and clean, and a very welcoming host.

The host made us so comfortable. The scenery was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

What's not to like.

This place is what Hogsback is all about. Great, easy walks in the forest. Beautiful waterfalls. Don't mind the road. Actually, there is no road in Hogsback, just a maze of potholes. Hobbit House is a lovely little cottage with lots of character. The hosts Kerry and Leigh provided just the right amount of communication via WhatsApp. We like that. The 3 cottages are very close to each other but I don't see this as a problem even if there are several guests. Well done. We will recommend this accommodation.

Amazing, beautiful, tranquil, private.

One of the best places we've ever stayed at. Ended up extending our stay as it was so hard to leave. Multiple walks from your doorstep through forests and rivers, as advertised. The paths and waterfalls seem private as well so didn't even see anyone else. 10/10.

Location is beautiful but the cabin needs some work.

The cabin is lovely but the wood stove does not work properly so the cabin is just freezing all the time and the bathroom is falling apart. Some wood is rotten and the taps are falling off.

I enjoyed the stay, the place is peaceful.

It was a different environment from the urban style of leaving its a place to have a peaceful fresh start for the beginning of the year to relax enjoy nature. I enjoyed the waterfalls they are beautiful and its easy to access them.

Beautiful location, wonderful waterfall with the soothing sound of water 24/7.

Overall pleasant experience but some attention to detail and cleanliness is required.

Die kothuis is ’n klein juweeltjie, weggesteek in die woud met alles wat jy nodig het.

Die stilte en rustigheid was wonderlik.

Amazing! Magical place! The cabin is so special. Just above the waterfall. Well-equipped. Clean. Friendly Angel. A really special place in Hogsback. I will always stay here on my trips to Hogsback. Thank you Leigh for the thoughtful artistic touches. ????????????

Magical homeliness.

To just be at the private, tranquil and especially client centered Hogrock Falls, can hardly be put in words. Our stay exceeded expectations. Leigh's added effort to make a special picnic possible was an extra special touch to this wonderful, magical place.

Ideaal vir die wat wil wegkom van die stad. Die huisie se vloer was nie baie skoon met aankoms nie.

Absolutely tranquil and just perfect.

Stunning views from the stoep to sit and watch the Cape Parrots fly overhead. Great place for summer as well as winter and will definitely be back for more. You've got your own private waterfall and walking trail.

Unique and well located site with great ambience. Leigh was available at a moment's notice and our girls thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Unfortunately Harry Potter never pitched though. I'm sure Leigh could have come up with Harry Styles!

Absolute juweel!

Wat 'n wonderlike naweek van batterye laai! Kan hierdie plekkie nie genoeg aanbeveel nie, alles wat jy nodig het in 'n sprokies omgewing. Leigh is wonderlik gasvry en heerlik om mee te gesels, sy het 'n absolute juweel hier beet. Ons beplan al klaar weer ons volgende kuier!

Ons naweek was storieboekagtig! Was werklik 'n avontuur en uit 'n boek uit belewenis!

Ontspanne, gemaklik en rustig.

Verblyf is gerieflik ingerig en beskik oor alles wat benodig word. Die uitsig en omgewing is asemrowend. Waterval net 'n klipgooi weg en maklike staproetes om te volg.

Rustigheid vir die siel.

Hogrock Falls is ideaal geleë in natuurskoon omgewing. Indien jy 'n wegbreekkans verlang met min ander mense op die perseel is hierdie ideaal. Dis privaat, is weggeleë van die dorp se doenighede en bied wonderlike staproetes aan. Is binne bereik van alles wat Hogsback bied.

This place is what everyone imagines Hogsback to be!

I loved the hands-off approach of Hogrock Falls. The view is breathtaking and there is a private waterfall a 3 minute walk away! The highlight though is the craftsmanship and originality of the cabins. We felt like we stepped into the Shire. It was magical. Thank you Jared and Kate.

Jy kan jou waarlik iets beter voorstel asj y in 'n sprokieswêreld wil oorbly. Die ligging verdien definitief meer as 5*! Die huisie is so mooi ontwerp. En die omgewing kan nie beter nie - asemrowend.

Baie lekker.

Dit was baie lekker en al die personeel was baie vriendelik.

Baie dankie vir vriendelike ontvangs. Ons het ons kuiertjie by Hogrock Falls baie geniet. Die boshuisies laat voel jou sommer soos deel van die bos! Die watervalletjies daar naby is pragtig. Sal definitief weer hier tuis gaan!
