Description

Hoogwater Farmlife and Accommodation is located in Wolseley and offers a genuine country-living experience. Hoogwater Farm is only 110 km from Cape Town, nestled under the majestic Witzenberg Mountains, within easy reach of Tulbagh, Wolseley and Ceres along the Route 62. The units are situated on a working fruit farm, where guests can get away from it all and experience life in the country.

Accommodation comprises 3 self-catering units, namely Hoogwater Cottage, Hoogwater Farmhouse and Hoogwater Family House. Hoogwater Cottage sleeps 2 to 4 people. This is an open-plan cottage with a double bed and double sleeper couch. There is a wood-fired hot tub.

Hoogwater Farmhouse sleeps 4 to 6 people. This is a spacious 2 bedroom house and guests have access to braai-facilities, air-conditioning, as well as a TV with DStv. There are a wood-fired hot tub and a large swimming pool for the exclusive use of the farmhouse.

Hoogwater Family House comprises 4 bedrooms of which the main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second and third bedrooms each contain a queen-size bed and the fourth bedroom has 3 double bunks and share a full bathroom. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge and a braai room. Outside is a verandah with a table and chairs as well as a wood-fired hot tub.

Guests can go bird watching, pick their own fruit during harvest time. Take a bike ride, go for a walk or run through our tranquil farm. It's just short stroll through the orchards to the river guests can bring their own fishing rod, the fish in the river include bass, barber and carp. Additional activities include a golf course, hiking and 4x4 trails nearby.
