Description

Hornbill Private Lodge is a self-catering home situated in Mabalingwe Nature Reserve, 26 km from Bela Bela in Limpopo. Perfect for a family or a group of friends wanting privacy and tranquillity, close to the experience of game viewing.

The lodge can accommodate up to 8 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom can be found upstairs and is equipped with a double bed and en-suite bathroom that has a bath, basin and toilet, with a viewing deck and a separate dressing room. The other 2 bedrooms are located downstairs, and one is furnished with 2 single beds with an en-suite bathroom that has a shower, while the third room is equipped with 4 single beds with a separate bathroom that has a shower and separate toilet.

The lodge also has 2 lapa areas, one of which serves as an open-plan lounge, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen that has a fridge and stove, microwave and pantry, with a TV that has full DStv viewing. The other lapa area has a pub and coffee bar with outdoor braai amenities and a boma which is adjacent.

Hornbill Private Lodge also has secure covered parking for 3 vehicles, and guests can enjoy both a heated and cold pool with kiddies play area 80 meters from the house. In the reserve, travellers staying at the lodge will have full access to Mabalingwe's facilities including undertaking their own game drives.
