Elands Bay offers beautiful West Coast landscapes and wildlife. The area is also rich in archaeological and natural history. Enjoy the flowers in spring, and crayfish in summer. Guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities from surfing, windsurfing and kiting, sand boarding, fishing, cray fishing, and nature walks to cycling.
Spot whales and dolphins in the bay, and black eagles soaring over the mountain ridge, or visit the bushman cave paintings. The beach in front of the house offers a beach surf break. A 10 minute walk along the beach takes you to the renowned Elands Bay Point surf. It is a 15 minute walk around Baboon Point to Bushman Cave paintings, and a 15 minute climb up to the top of the mountain will reward guests with beautiful views of all of Elands Bay, up the coast and inland of Verlorenvlei. It is a 5 minute drive into town where there is the Elands Bay Hotel, small shops for basic foods and amenities, and 1 or 2 local restaurants.
