House on Blyde offers self-catering accommodation and is located in a secure, fenced reserve in the Blyde Canyon. This splendid and secluded home is situated on the banks of the Blyde River, and will steal your heart with the tranquillity of nature surrounding the property.
This fully furnished, family-friendly, double-storey home consists of 3 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds and a queen-size bed; each bedroom offers lovely views. The first bathroom is fitted with a shower and a bath, twin basins and a toilet; the second bathroom has a shower, a basin, and a toilet.
The open-plan well-equipped kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, a stove and an oven, cutlery, crockery, and other small appliances. The adjacent open-plan living area leads out to a sheltered deck with braai facilities. There is another open-air deck next to the river where guests can sit and relax as well.
Guests can hear the sounds of the river, or often spot free-roaming impala, zebra, bushbuck, and bush pig near the house. There are unusually beautiful trees, such as Jackal Berry, Leadwood, Marula and Fig that surround the property.
