Description

Houtkapperspoort Mountain Cottages is situated within the Houtkapperspoort Mountain Estate, positioned on the slopes of the mountain overlooking the Hout Bay Valley. The cottages are located in a hidden glen beneath the cooling shade of indigenous trees. Houtkapperspoort offers a relaxing, tranquil stay with fresh mountain air, and endless forest paths that wind through indigenous fynbos.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 11 fully furnished self-catering cottages. Each cottage has a veranda and braai facilities, and is equipped with quality linen and towels, a TV with selected DStv channels and a DVD player, air-conditioning, and a wood-burning fireplace and/or underfloor heating. Each cottage is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, oven and stove, and a microwave. Most have washing machines and some have dishwashers installed. All have uncapped, high-speed fibre internet available for for guests.

The estate offers a lovely swimming pool, as well as a tennis court, children's play area with a jungle gym, and 24-hour on-site security.

The location is ideal for those who wish to explore the area's attractions, such as a variety of wine farms, restaurants, and hiking and walking trails.
