Huis Adriaann offers self-catering accommodation in a quaint garden cottage in the charming village of Prince Albert, nestled beneath the Swartberg Mountain in the Karoo region of the Western Cape.

The cottage is comprised of 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with twin beds, a lounge area with a sleeper couch and a TV, a bathroom fitted with a shower, an equipped kitchenette and a dining area. Guests have access to an outdoor verandah and braai facilities. A covered carport is provided alongside the cottage for off-street parking, and linen and towels are also provided.

Prince Albert offers a range of activities to enjoy, from wine, olive, and cheese tasting, to stargazing and exploring historic attractions. The town has become a popular tourist destination and boasts a variety of beautifully preserved Cape Dutch, Karoo, and Victorian buildings, 13 of which are national monuments. Another 5 national monuments are situated in the region, including the Swartberg Pass and Gamkaskloof. Prince Albert is also home to the Karoo Labyrinth, Swartberg Nature Reserve, and Albert’s Mill, one of the last remaining working watermills in South Africa.

Other activities include hiking, mountain biking, scenic drives, Weltevrede Game Drives, bird watching, and ecotours. Visit the Prince Albert Gallery, the weavery and the Fransie Pienaar Museum. Prince Albert is popular for its sun-ripened fresh and dried fruit, especially figs and apricots. Karoo lamb, olives, olive oil, wine, and cheese are also popular Prince Albert delicacies.
