Description

Huis Maroela is situated in Marloth Park and offers quality accommodation for a family or group of friends. It is within easy reach of numerous shops, restaurants, activities and attractions.

The house comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 5 guests at a time, but the fifth guest must be under 12 years old. This guest will sleep on a single day bed in the living room. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. The house was designed to be cool in summer with a high roof and energy-saving glass windows and sliding doors. Each room also has air conditioning. There are solar panels and a battery system to lessen the impact of loadshedding.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas and electric stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the kitchen island or on the verandah next to the swimming pool under the shade of the giant marula tree. There is a Nespresso machine for the coffee lovers. Just take your own capsules. There is an ice machine. Swimming towels is provided.

The lounge has comfortable couches, and a dining area with ample seating where guests can enjoy their meals together. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi access. Please note there is not TV. The living area has sliding doors that slide open all around and lead to the verandah, swimming pool and the braai boma respectively.

There are lovely braai facilities available for guests’ use during their stay and guests are afforded parking on the premises.

Hippos, lions and hyenas provide the night music in Marloth Park, while the call of the fish eagles resounds throughout the day. Game drives and fishing excursions can be arranged at extra cost. There are several restaurants in Marloth Park. Bring along binoculars and hiking boots and walk long distances along the Crocodile River that forms the boundary between Kruger National Park and Marloth Park.
