On arrival we were warmly welcomed and given the keys to the four bedroom house, Each child could have his own room. Rooms are well equipped with high quality beds and bedding, slept super well there. We had a nice barbecue in the evening at the lapa which is some distance from the house. I would recommend that it be mentioned that the farm can only be reached with a 4x4 or high ground clearance vehicle. (Reasonable distance to drive on dirt road). It was semi like camp, because the house has no electricity, but sufficient flashlights were provided. There is hot water for bath and kitchen needs. If I had known in advance that the surroundings were so beautiful and secluded I would definitely have wanted to stay 2 to 3 nights. If you like farm life and unspoiled nature, this place is definitely for you.

The isolation was fantastic.

If you are looking for a place to go and stay far away from all the noise, this is the place. In between the mountains with spectacular views all around. If you like an adventure like we do, the road to get to this place is fantastic. A gravel road where we saw kudus on our way and the scenery is wonderful. Don’t let the road put you off, we did it with our Renault Kwid and had no problems.
