Description
Hummingbird 23 Houtbosch Bay is situated near the beachfront of Aston Bay across from Marina Martinique outside of Jeffreys Bay, about 120 m from the beach located between dunes and fynbos.
This is a wooden house with 2 levels. The apartment on the ground level cannot be booked. The house boasts easy access to the beach via a boardwalk leading through the reserve, between the houses and sand dunes. There are 1 restaurants within 5 minutes of the house.
Hummingbird can accommodate 5 guests and it comprises 2 bedrooms and a loft. The main bedroom has a double bed and its bathroom, fitted with a shower, is right next to the room. The second bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The loft room is furnished with a single bed. There is also a Smart TV and free Wi-Fi. Guests can sign into their own DStv Now and Netflix.
The living area has comfortable couches and chairs. The living area leads to a balcony with a view of the reserve and the ocean.
There is a gas braai on the balcony. Due to the high fire risk, guests are advised not to use the braai facilities on windy days.
Jeffreys Bay is within 5 km of the house and offers activities such as surfing, deep-sea fishing, kite surfing, sandboarding, and whale- and dolphin watching. Guests can visit the Charlotte Kritzinger Shell Museum or swim at Dolfyn Beach's Blue Flag Beach. Hiking in the 3 nature reserves, gymnastics, golf, bowls, tennis and horse riding can also be enjoyed in the area, while numerous restaurants, shops, the Fountains Mall and a clinic are within easy reach of the house.
